St. Regis And Me

The beautiful St. Regis Hotel in Century City, aka The Tower at Century Plaza, was a historical landmark. Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, I have many fond memories from there. When staying at The Century Plaza, I chose to stay either in the main building or the tower. Both hotels had their own qualities, but there was something truly special about the tower. Sadly, after it split off from the Century Plaza and became a St. Regis, the hotel was eventually sold and demolished. There is a new condo building under construction at that location. While I am sure it will be fantastic, "the tower" will always have a special place in my heart.

Savannah On My Mind

Wilhelm's Savannah, formerly known as French 75, is closed. Formerly occupying a beautiful corner of the Westfield Century City, Savannah was an awesome restaurant with great food and service. My only regret is that more people didn't feel the same way. C'est La Vie.

A New Life In The City

I had lived in the country for years. The wilderness, the fresh air, open spaces, the natural beauty of it all. But even though I loved it for what it was, there was always something missing. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on. And whenever I ventured into The City, I found that something. So a few years ago I decided to trade my old life for a new one. One that included that something. This is my story.
